General Assistant Wanted – Scullery Position in Sea Point
Roberts Connexion is currently looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join their team as General Assistants (Scullery). This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are eager to gain experience in the hospitality industry and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
As a General Assistant, your main responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and scullery area. Daily tasks include washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, ensuring all utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, and keeping workstations neat and organized. You may also assist kitchen staff with basic duties when required, ensuring smooth kitchen operations at all times.
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting will be an added advantage, but it is not essential. What is most important is your willingness to work, reliability, and ability to perform under pressure. Candidates must be physically fit, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be a team player, and maintain a positive attitude in a busy environment. This role offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow within a well-established restaurant.
